Melanie K. Balsman's career in the beauty and medical industry has given her many years of experience as a Permanent Cosmetic Specialist.  Trained and licensed in cosmetology and tattooing, she is also a Certified Nurse Assistant with experience in surgical assisting.

In 2002, Melanie received her permanent cosmetics certificate of achievement from the So Natural Institute of Permanent Cosmetics in St. Louis, Missouri.  Additionally, she is a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals (SPCP) and a proud sponsor for the American Cancer Society.

Melanie is established and referred by area physicians and works with plastic surgeons, Dr. Jung and Dr. Major, at Southeast Missouri ENT Consultants LTD, in Cape Girardeau. Their specialities include all areas of intradermal and micro-pigmentation including paramedical breast and areola nipple restoration procedures, as well as laser tattoo removal and camouflaging.

Melanie uses her talent as an artist to formulate and blend the right color pigments for each individual skin tone. For the ultimate natural looking result she applies her signature "Freestyle Technique" which brings amazing results.
